Our third-annual survey draws on the databases of agencies with a substantial number of independent schools in their client base. While the range of risk management and insurance decisions that independent schools encounter is quite broad, we have limited our focus in this study to educators legal liability, excess liability, fiduciary liability and cyber liability.

For this year's report, data sets were collected from 207 Institutions: 46 Public Day Schools, 161 Private Day Schools. Additionally, we collected enrollment information from 207 Institutions. Enrollment is broken down by public and private day schools, then by four student enrollment group sizes.
