RCM&D initially launched its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) benchmarking survey in 2016, specifically to private colleges and universities throughout the mid-Atlantic region. The reboot of the survey was deployed to the same audience to better understand the top risk concerns for this unique subset of higher education amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As suspected, the consensus is clear; COVID-19 greatly impacted operations, strained budgets and fundamentally altered institutions' strategic objectives.
